FAQs

What is a distance learning course?

Distance Learning is just as the name implies, learning from a distance. You will learn mainly from your home or anywhere else outside of an educational campus. Technological advances and changes in educational methods have made studying at home possible. Traditional colleges and universities are also included in this process.

Distance Learning enables you to completely finish your chosen educational path without even leaving your home.

Such an easy and effective method of education has never been accessible to the general public no matter where you reside, what your nationality is, your race, your religious beliefs, or age.

Who requires distance learning?

Distance Learning is compatible with any person worldwide. Distance Learning enables people to complete their desired courses of study without turning their life "upside-down".

Young students, their parents, managers, people who have not completed their studies, busy people, people who cannot afford the expensive annual fees ($20,000 or $30,000) in the traditional training, and people who wish to get an American education without leaving their home country. These people and many more require distance learning.

Do IT courses have a final exam at the end of instruction?

No, a final exam is not necessary and doesn't exist at AAHSI, because AAHSI asks for a high level (over 90%) of all tasks to be completed throughout the entire duration of instruction. This way our instructors follow the student, and he or she must show real learning and understanding throughout the entire process. Usually everyone who is seriously focused can learn using our video learning method and gain a high competence level in their area. We have seen through our experience before now, the most dangerous behaviors are for you to become inactive, lazy, or similar behaviors that inhibit your regular focus on IT training during your education. Try avoiding these behaviors.

What if I start to become inactive?

AAHSI is not responsible for your inactivity. We reserve video lessons and instructors for the months you have paid. If you are inactive for any reason AAHSI will NOT refund any monthly payments. Please be careful. We are directly and openly saying this. If you know that you will be unavailable for more than two weeks during a course, its better if you do not register in this term for your IT training through AAHSI.

If you become active again later, you can pay for new educational months and finish your IT training.

Do the IT courses and language school follow the same method of instruction?

No, language courses have a different way of learning. Languages courses do not have video lessons. AAHSI has a special learning method, the GOLDEN KEY. The GOLDEN KEY perfectly "fits in" the distance learning option of language courses and is based on written communication (such as e-mails or instant messenger). You can learn more about the GOLDEN KEY language learning method here: http://www.aahsi.org/goldenkey.php

How long do I have to complete my course?

Most of our IT courses are designed to be completed within 3 months; but some courses can be shorter or longer based on the complexity of the educational area.

Language courses are based on monthly educational steps and students can learn month by month until the student is satisfied with his or her level of progress using our GOLDEN KEY language learning method.

Yes, AAHSI will provide all training material to you. This is included in the tuition cost.
